Measuring, controlling and improving compliance
The improvement of compliance begins with the acquistion and evaluation of information about the actual hand-hygiene behaviours within a hospital.
Measuring usage - Which dispenser was used how often? With an in-built counter function in the ingo-man® plus Counter and the ingo-man® Weco*, the precise usage frequency and thus the total disinfectant usage can be measured for each dispenser. The validity of the counter function for ingo-man plus Counter is being verified by hygiene experts. Do you have any further questions? For more detailed information, please contact us.
Save, evaluate and visualize data – Are there abnormalities in temporal or spatial disinfectant usage? Where is there potential for improvement? With the efficient OPHARDT hygiene Monitoring (HMS) software solution, you can create usage and compliance profiles for different time periods and locations (patient rooms, halls, stations). The software can be downloaded here.
Improving operational quality management – How can compliance in hand hygiene be improved and sustained? Based on differential usage and compliance measurements, a performance indicator system can be developed and integrated into the operational quality management of the hospital.
