In 1962 Hermann Ophardt laid the foundation for the success story of the today globally active OPHARDT hygiene business group in the town of Issum, found in Germany’s lower Rhine region. With a small team of highly motivated colleagues he attempted an entry into the then still young market for hygiene products. On the foundation of a distinctly customer oriented product portfolio, the business developed into a leading producer of high quality dispensing systems for disinfection and hygiene in the medical area, as well as multifaceted dosage applications in the industrial and sanitation sectors.

Our business philosophy reflects the demands of leadership in the area of high quality dispensing systems as well as our comprehensive technical expertise. Quality from One Source
Exclusively high quality materials find their place in the manufacturing of OPHARDT hygiene products. Stainless steel, aluminum and high quality synthetic materials are developed into optimally coordinated dispensing and dosage solutions. Additionally we manufacture supplementary accessories ourselves. This results in the highest product quality and reliability—all from one source.
